One report card is easy. Forty is a weekend.

Reporting to parents is the single highest-leverage thing a tuition centre does — it is what turns results into retention and referrals. It also gets skipped, because doing it by hand for every student costs an evening you do not have.

TutorOne builds reports for a whole batch in one click from attendance and test data it already holds, then shares them as links parents open on any phone. See how progress reports work or the tests that feed them.

Frequently asked questions

What should a tuition progress report include?+

At minimum: subject-wise marks with percentages, an overall grade, attendance for the period, and a short written remark. Parents read the remark first, so make it specific — “needs practice with word problems” tells them more than “satisfactory”.

How are the grades calculated?+

Grades follow a common Indian scale: A+ from 90%, A from 80%, B from 70%, C from 60%, D from 50%, and E below that. They are computed per subject and for the total.

Can I save the report card as a PDF?+

Yes. Click Print / Save as PDF and choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog — useful for sharing on WhatsApp.

Can I generate these for a whole batch at once?+

Not in this free tool — it handles one student at a time. TutorOne generates reports for an entire batch in one click, pulling attendance and test scores it already has, and shares them with parents as links.

These tools are free. So is the whole app, during beta.
